E. Ethelbert Miller is a literary activist. He is the director of the African American Resource Center at Howard University and board chair of the Institute for Policy Studies.He was awarded an honorary doctorate in Literature from Emory and Henry College. A Fulbright scholar in 2004 and 2012. Miller is the author of several collection of poems and two memoirs.
