Plenilúnio (Full Moon)

Abstract

Andréia Lisboa de Souza was born in São Paulo and is an educator. She began publishing poetry in Cadernos Negros [Black Notebooks] in 2001. She is currently working on her PhD at the University of Texas at Austin. Her areas of interest are children’s literature and public education to include black history in Brazil. She believes life should be an adventure of encounters and reencounters.
